<\/p>We LOVE Hettie, a 7 year old mini shredder from Newcastle who has been skating for a little over a year. She\u2019s all about having fun with her skate pals, learning new things and showing off her amazing style at the skate park.<\/p>

We asked her a few questions to get to know her a little bit more\u2026<\/p>
Why did you start skating?<\/strong> How did you start skateboarding?<\/strong> How long have you been skating?<\/strong> Where do you skate?<\/strong> What is your favourite trick?<\/strong>
I saw Sky Brown in the Olympics and knew right then that I wanted to do that, I wanted to skateboard.<\/p>
My Mummy and Daddy bought me a skateboard, we had a go in the street and it was so much fun! Mummy took me to a skatepark and I met some really nice grown up friends and they helped me.<\/p>
I\u2019ve been skating for a year and a bit and I want to skate right up until I\u2019m old like grandad Bob.<\/p>
I go to coaching at 4Motion in Darlington. It takes an hour to get there but I love going there. The coaches are like my friends and they help me. I love going to girls night there too.<\/p>
I\u2019m 6 and I did a 6 foot drop in! That\u2019s one foot for every year\u2026 although I couldn\u2019t drop in when I was 1. (we chatted to Hettie before she turned 7) The favourite trick I\u2019m learning at the moment is a 50-50 grind.<\/p>
