She\u2019s not afraid to try new things and can be relied on to shout some encouraging words before any of her crew pals are about to do something they\u2019re nervous about!<\/p><p>She wrote us something about what skating means to her :)<\/p><p>\u201cHello, my name is Nora and I skateboard as a hobby. I started when I was 8 years old and now I\u2019m 10, so about 2 years!<\/p><p>Skateboarding is really fun and I\u2019m grateful for skating with friends. Being able to meet up and skate is what these friends are for.<\/p><p>I started by skating on the flat ground at the end of my road and then learning to roll on the smooth. Once I knew this, I could start the basics like rolling down a bank or pumping. I completely covered these skills and learnt to drop in plus more tricks like rock to fakie.<\/p><blockquote><p style=\"text-align:center;\"><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/jjgehnglh0ehdx49brabrdvhpvwjd81apmovyh6gk8ip4sjn.png\" alt=\"jjgehnglh0ehdx49brabrdvhpvwjd81apmovyh6gk8ip4sjn.png\" \/>Nora when she first started skating!<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Everyone takes practice slowly, some faster than others. I didn\u2019t give up on those times when you\u2019re all like \u201cI can\u2019t do this\u201d and carried on at the weekends. A really important tip, falling over is not the end of the world!<\/p><p>Enjoy skating everyone and remember, you\u2019ve got what it takes, no matter how different you are from everyone! Thanks skaters!\u201d<\/p><p>We can confirm that Nora has her rock fakies NAILED!
